1. Applications are invited for the post of IT Strategist and Implementer at the Healis-
Sekhsaria Institute for Public Health, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Position: IT Strategist and Implementer

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Establish IT strategy, direction and roadmap to drive thoughtful and strategic deployment of IT for operational and project-level purposes
• Understand, qualify and plan IT opportunities and requirements in scientific projects
• Implement processes to drive periodic assessment and reporting on operational and security functions for IT and security in the organization
• Develop and formalize IT service and security functions across the general IT service management and cybersecurity portfolios
• Plan and perform daytoday maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and identify IT processes for ‘automation’
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
• Maintain inventory of IT infrastructure
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or Associate’s degree in Computers technology, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent with 3-5 years’ industry experience
• A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows systems, networking (design, deployment and configuration), endpoint management and cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including strong knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
Essential Skills:
• Google Workspace or G Suite
• IT security essentials
• Endpoint management (laptop, desktop and mobiles)
• Directory-based user identity and asset management
• Ability to operationalize IT and security processes
• Amazon Web Service (AWS)
○ Linux servers
○ RedCap: Web app and database
• Network Attached Storage (NAS)
• A strong problem-solving attitude and desire to independently learn

2. Healis Sekhsaria Institute for Public Health, Navi Mumbai is looking for a middle to senior-level public health research scientist.
The person should have an earned doctorate preferably in epidemiology or in a related area of public health.
It is expected that the person would have a track record of managing research projects and publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
It would be important to possess experience in writing successful grant applications for funding.
The Institute specialises in population-based epidemiological studies for elucidation of risk factors for NCDs and their prevention.
