Join our dynamic team and gain valuable hands-on experience in Public Health research.
1.Position: Public Health Intern
Duration: Full time, 3-4 months (January 2026- April 2026)
Location: Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra.
Stipend: Voluntary, however, any field travel expenses will be reimbursed as per Healis
polices.
Open to: Individuals not associated with the tobacco industry and not using tobacco products personally
Closing date for applications: January 25 th, 2026
Joining Date: Immediate
Eligibility Criteria:
* Currently pursuing Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or recently completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
* Strong interest in public health, community fieldwork, and data collection
* Willingness to travel extensively for school-based activities
* Good communication, observation, and documentation skills atleast in Marathi or
preferably Hindi
Internship Description:
As a Public Health Intern at Healis, you will work closely with experienced public health professionals on the ongoing Project. The internship provides hands-on exposure to community-based oral health programs and school health systems.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Assisting clinical oral examinations of approximately 1,000 school children
* Preparing monitoring and examination reports
This internship is designed to strengthen your practical skills in public health fieldwork,
monitoring, and program implementation.

2.Position: Intern
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an MPH or MSW program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
